Our 1st Loaf
The 1st loaf was made at the weekend using our new bread maker. We decided on a Granary loaf at 2lbs.Using the recipe manual, all of the mixture was put in the bread pan in the correct order and the bread pan was set in place. We then went on the select the type of loaf we wanted and finally selected the browning of the loaf: Medium.
4 hours later, the house was filled with the smell of fresh bread! We rushed to the kitchen to check out what we had created actually worked. It looked promising through the window on the top. The loaf was hot; we struggled to get it out. After pulling and twisting the loaf came out of the baking tin. It had the kneading handles embedded in the bottom of the loaf.
Still warm, we cut a slice each, covered it with butter and tasted. A little too much sugar but it tasted fantastic!
